Most orders take four to eight weeks on the bench, plus one to two weeks for shipping. Fully custom builds with heavy tooling can take up to 14 weeks. We send weekly progress photos along the way.
We'll email you a simple fitting kit with instructions on how to take back tracings and withers photos. Most riders complete it in under 30 minutes. If you're near Greensboro, NC, we're happy to do the fitting in person.
We take a 50% deposit to begin work and the balance before shipping. We accept all major credit cards, ACH transfers and PayPal. Financing is available on orders over $2,500.
Yes. We regularly ship to Canada, Mexico and the EU. International shipping is quoted per order and always fully insured. Import duties are the buyer's responsibility.
Because every saddle is custom-built, we do not accept returns on completed saddles. We do, however, guarantee fit. If the saddle doesn't fit your horse after you follow our fitting guide, we will rework it at no charge. See Returns & Care for full terms.
Yes. Our repair bench is open to any saddle that comes in. We'll quote the work by photograph before you ship.
Only vegetable-tanned Hermann Oak skirting leather sourced from St. Louis, Missouri. It's the industry gold standard and holds a tool like nothing else.

Yes. Bridles, breast collars, split reins, romal sets and saddle bags can all be built to match your saddle's tooling and hardware.
Wipe it down after each ride, oil it lightly twice a year with pure neatsfoot oil, and store it dry on a saddle rack. Full care instructions ship with every order.
