El Rey de las Monturas Oficial began in a small barn behind our family home in Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded by Mary Glen Spinks, our workshop grew out of a lifelong love for horses and the honest craft of the American west. Every saddle that leaves our doors is built by hand — cut, tooled, stitched and finished by artisans who care about the horse as much as the rider.
We do not mass-produce anything. Each order begins with a conversation, a fitting, and a promise that your saddle will still be riding well decades from now.
